Pick Slab- select a slab to modify.
-
Specify Method- specify a method to add or replace points:
- Add only- this will only add points.
- Replace area- this will replace (add and delete the existing) points only within a specified area of the slab.
- Pick Area Lines- if using replace area, must also select model lines to define the area for replacement.
- Replace entire slab- this will replace all of the points from the slab.
- Note: prior to Revit 24 this will reset boundary points, if they are within the area and cannot be deleted. In 2024, there are new API methods to prevent this from happening.
-
Get Points from- this is the source that will add points into the slab:
- CAD Link
- CSV or LandXML File
- Topo or Slab Element
- Revit Model Lines
- Revit Edges
- Specify Point Interval- if available, this will decide how frequently to place points along lines or edges.
- Offset Points- if available, this will offset the points up or down from the source points.
