Settings for placing plants

Description

Overall Settings

will be applied when using plant placement tools (Fill Area and Place Along)

• Randomize Rotation on Placement- when checked, this will randomize the rotation of plants
• Tag on Placement- when checked, this will tag plants
• Remember Last Used Host- when checked, this will remember your last used host and attempt to use it again, if available.

Default Host Type- dropdown that lets you select your preference for host type when placing plants. Placement tools will try to select that host type first, if available.

Area Settings

Reduce Plants Along Area Edges (Offset Value)- this is a ratio that is multiplied to the spacing. This produces a calculated value, and plants that are within this distance to the boundary of the area are reduced (not placed).

Example:

• Offset Value: 0.25
• Spacing: 2’

Plants that are within 0.5’ (6”) (0.25x2’) are not placed.

Default Value: 0

Recommended Value: between 0.25 and 0.5
