Summary

This shared parameter gives the users some control over the minimum spacing of plants in mixes.

How to Setup

There are two methods to get this parameter into your planting families:

• Project Parameter (add it by project- note: this can also be done in your project template)
• Family Editor (add it by family)

Adding it to each family via the Family Editor is more best practice, as it ensures that it is always in the family, regardless of the project file. However, adding it as a Project Parameter is the quickest way to get this parameter into all of your planting families.

IMPORTANT: Whichever method you choose, it must be added as a Type Parameter.

Project Parameter Method

1. First, go to Manage ⇒ Shared Parameters

   

2. Navigate to the FOREground Shared Parameters file:

   • It is located here: C:\Program Files\PrlxApps\FOREground
   • Click Open and OK.

   

3. Then, go to Manage ⇒ Project Parameters, and Click Add...

   

4. Toggle: Shared parameter and Type, then click Select...

   

5. Select Prls_SPACING MIN, the click OK
