Description

Pick Edge- select a slab edge to use as the base of the stair
Specify Build Method- choose to build up or down from edge.
- From Base- build stair using edge as bottom of stair.
- From Top- build stair using edge as top of stair.

Stair Height- the height of the stair.

Note: The number of risers will be calculated from the height, based on stair type calculations.

additional height options:
- End Stair with Riser- check this box to end stair with riser.
- Flip- this will flip the stair in the other direction.
- Height from Edge- pick an edge to calculate a height for the stair.

Select Stair Type- select the stair type from the dropdown.
- Tread Depth- specify the tread depth (will default to minimum tread depth of stair type).
Stair Width- change the stair width (will default to edge length).
- Align to- set the alignment of the stair, along the edge.
Select Railing Type- select the railing type from the dropdown.

Known Issues/Limitations

Curved stair is currently only supported with ‘From Base’ method. Addition curved stair support is still in development.
Quick Stair requires that two levels exist in the project, and will check for this on launch. If only one level exists, a second level will be automatically created. It will be named "Level for Stair Creation”. If you intend to continue making stairs using this tool it is recommended to keep a second level in your project.
