Summary

Export topos and slabs to LandXML.

Description

1. Select topos and slabs- select the elements to export.
2. File name- specify the location and name of the .xml file.
   • Browse- select the folder and specify the name.
3. Specify Export Method- specify what you will export:

   • Export Faces and Points- this method will export faces and points and will maintain triangulation to match.

     WARNING: for very large elements, this method will be noticeably slower.

   • Export Points Only- this method will only export points, so may not maintain exact triangulation. But will be much faster.

4. Specify XML Units- specify units to use for the xml
   • Feet
   • Meters
5. Coordinates Basis- options to change the coordinates basis of the points (these match the default 3 Revit coordinates):
   • Survey Point- coordinates based on the Shared Coordinates zero as the origin.
   • Project Base Point- coordinates based the Project Base Point and Rotation as the basis.
   • Internal Origin- coordinates based on the Internal Origin as the origin.
